# Building a worldwide platform for tokenized hedge funds

We believe that combining market-making execution with vault automation will be the hedge fund infrastructure of the future.

The HyperTrend mission is to provide this sophisticated infrastructure to the $3 trillion Hedge Fund marketplace, allowing TradFi hedge funds to launch DeFi funds simply and securely.

As traditional finance institutions seek exposure to crypto markets, HyperTrend provides the infrastructure and performance track record necessary to facilitate this transition at scale.

We've designed our tokenomics to address common problems in DeFi protocols by eliminating VC-driven sell pressure, preventing team dumping through performance-based vesting, and ensuring that value accrues directly to our token holders rather than to corporate entities.

$TREND is currently listed on Hyperliquid and at launch we anticipate multiple tier 1 exchange listings.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.hypertrend.xyz/building-a-worldwide-platform-for-tokenized-hedge-funds.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
